Raised in a simple family, he grew up grounded in the values of hard work, perseverance, and deep trust in God—virtues that would later shape both his personal journey and his vocation. He currently resides in San Antonio Village, Makati City, where he continues his ministry and mission.

Basic Education and Early Formation
He completed his elementary education at Sangrada Elementary School, Tinambac, Camarines Sur and his secondary education at Jose De Villa National High School, Manguring, Calabanga, Camarines Sur. Even in his younger years, Fr. Ronel demonstrated discipline and determination, striving to excel despite life’s challenges. After high school, he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, major in Hotel and Restaurant Management, at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, Ratay, Calabanga, Camarines Sur. His college years were marked not only by academic formation but also by meaningful life experiences that strengthened his character and deepened his sense of responsibility.

Vocation Discernment and Catechetical Formation
In time, he discerned a deeper calling beyond professional ambitions—a call to serve God and His people. Responding generously to this invitation, he entered formation and completed the Catechists’ Intensive Formation at the Caceres Catechetical Center in Naga City. This period became a significant turning point in his life, as it deepened his understanding of the faith and awakened in him a desire to dedicate himself fully to evangelization.

Philosophical and Theological Formation
He later entered the seminary and pursued his philosophical studies at the St. Paul Seminary Foundation, Silang, Cavite, where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, with units in Mass Communication (2012–2016). This unique combination of disciplines became foundational in his mission of evangelizing through modern means of communication. He then proceeded to theological formation at the Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City, where he completed his Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology (2018–2023), equipping him with a solid grounding in Sacred Scripture, Church doctrine, and pastoral ministry.

Advanced Studies and Pauline Formation
Continuing his formation, he also earned his Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City (2018–2023), further honing his pastoral sensitivity and leadership in the Church. As part of his formation within the Society of St Paul, he completed the Pauline Charism Course in Rome, Italy, immersing himself in the spirituality and mission of proclaiming Christ through media. He studied Italian Language and Culture in Bari, Italy—an experience that broadened his cultural perspective and deepened his appreciation of the Pauline way of Life.

Ordination to the Sacred Priesthood
Fr. Ronel was ordained to the sacred priesthood in November 8, 2025, marking the fulfillment of years of discernment, formation, and faithful response to God’s call. As a priest of the Society of St Paul, he now lives out his vocation at the intersection of faith and media, embracing the mission of bringing the Gospel into the digital world.

Current Ministry and Leadership Roles
At present, he serves as the Manager of the Provincial Information Office Online of the Society of St Paul Philippines–Australia Province, where he oversees digital communications, online evangelization initiatives, and the official news platform of the Society of St Paul. He is also the Manager of ST PAULS Online, the official online store of ST PAULS Philippines. In addition, he serves as Marketing Director of ST PAULS Philippines, helping promote resources that nurture faith and spiritual growth. Beyond these responsibilities, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Catholic Communicators Inc. (ACCI), actively collaborating with fellow communicators in advancing the mission of the Church through media.

Mission and Vision in Evangelization
Through all these roles, Fr. Ronel remains deeply committed to the Pauline mission of proclaiming the Gospel using modern means of communication. His ministry reflects a passion for evangelization, a heart for service, and a vision of making Christ known in the digital age. Guided by faith and strengthened by his formation, he continues to dedicate his life to bringing the message of hope, truth, and love to people wherever they may be—especially in today’s rapidly evolving world of media and technology.
Extracurricular Engagements, Research, and Skills
Within the seminary and apostolic settings, he took on responsibilities as an Apostolate Chairman and Finance Officer, demonstrating leadership, stewardship, and organizational skills. His professional experience also includes serving as a Marketing Executive at Cebu Microasia Marketing, where he gained valuable exposure in business operations, marketing strategies, and client relations.

Fr. Ronel explored both philosophical and theological inquiry. His philosophical research, “Contra Hegel: The Mediation of Beauty between the Sensible,” reflects his engagement with classical and modern philosophical thought. In theology, his capstone paper, “Koinonia: The Pink Movement during the 2022 National Election,” examines the intersection of faith, community, and contemporary socio-political realities.

Complementing these experiences is a strong set of technical and creative skills. He is proficient in graphic design and digital arts, web development and management, and social media management and marketing—competencies that greatly support his mission of evangelization in the digital age.
