For the fourth consecutive year, ST PAULS was honored by the Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). This year, its Publishing and Audiovisual teams received two major recognitions—Best Station ID and Best Youth Magazine—at the 47th CMMA held on November 19, 2025, at the City State Hotel, Manila.

The Best Station ID award was given to “Lakbay Pasko” (Christmas Journey), composed by Cl. Russel Matthew Patolot, SSP, and directed by Fr. Keiv Aires Dimatatac, SSP. The production bested three major television networks in the same category for the second year in a row. Also recognized once again as Best Youth Magazine was Youngster, ST PAULS’ youth-oriented publication, its previous win dating back to 2018.

Receiving the awards were Fr. Angelo Paolo Asprer, SSP, Creative Director; Fr. Sebastian Gadia III, SSP, Periodicals Manager; Fr. Dimatatac, SSP, Audiovisuals Manager; and Cl. Patolot, SSP, who is also Youngster Editor. The awards were presented by His Eminence Jose Cardinal Advincula, D.D., Archbishop of Manila and honorary CMMA chairman, together with His Excellency Bishop Rufino Sescon Jr., of Diocese of Balanga.

Other ST PAULS finalists included “Pag-ibig (God’s Love) with Reflections on the Seven Last Words of Jesus” and “Visita Iglesia 2025: Pilgrims of Faith, Journeying in Hope” for Best TV Special, as well as Halo: Sambuhay for Kids for Best Children’s Magazine.

Anchored on the theme “Share with Gentleness the Hope that is in Your Hearts” (1 Peter 3:15–16), the annual awards night—founded by the late Jaime Cardinal Sin—continues to recognize student and professional media practitioners who uphold and communicate Gospel values in their work.
