A NEW ASPIRANT FOR THE INSTITUTE OF ST. GABRIEL THE ARCHANGEL

Mr. John Carlo Perez was formally accepted into the Aspirancy Program of the Institute of St. Gabriel the Archangel (ISGA), an institute aggregated to the Society of St. Paul.

The simple Rite of Acceptance took place on June 24, 2026, coinciding with the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. The celebration was held at the Oratory of Mary, Queen of the Apostles in Makati City, with the Holy Mass presided over by ISGA Formator Fr. Vinz Anthony B. Aurellano, SSP.

Fr. John Ramil D. Tapang, SSP, Provincial Delegate to the Aggregated Institutes, delivered the homily. He emphasized that a person’s name is more than an identity or a label—it carries a profound mission. “At times, this mission may initially seem vague,” Fr. Tapang said, “but the Lord will gradually reveal that you are more than a name; you are His beloved child, called to collaborate in His mission of salvation through your particular vocation.”

As part of the rite, Mr. Perez received the Pauline Manual of Prayers and the Holy Bible as signs of his commitment to begin this stage of vocational formation.

We invite everyone to join us in praying for Mr. Perez through the intercession of our Spiritual Father, St. Paul the Apostle, Mary, Queen of the Apostles, St. Gabriel the Archangel, and all the Pauline Saints. May he persevere faithfully in his unique mission of bringing Jesus the Master to the world through the witness of his life.
