Juniors Instituted in the Ministries of Lector and Acolyte

On September 22, 2025, during the 6:00 PM Mass in honor of St. Paul the Apostle, six Junior Clerics of the Society of St. Paul were instituted into the ministries of Lector and Acolyte. The Mass was presided by Fr. Mario Sobrejuanite, SSP Provincial Superior. Concelebrating were Fr. Khris Emmanuel Llacer, SSP, Formator, who presented the candidates, and Fr. Lawrence De Peralta, SSP, Assistant Formator and homilist.

Instituted as Lectors were Clerics Anthony Pangilinan, Enrique Geremia Teodoro, and John Erwin Valerio. They received the Book of Scriptures as a sign of their mission to proclaim God’s Word faithfully and prayerfully.

As Acolytes, Clerics Miko De la Cruz, Anjon Fredrick Mamunta, and Philip Jay Orongan were entrusted with the service of the altar and the distribution of the Bread of Life. They were reminded to live lives worthy of their sacred duty.

In his homily, Fr. Lawrence shared how his early experience as an altar server in his hometown in Palawan nurtured his vocation. He encouraged the newly instituted ministers to carry out their roles with faith, joy, and commitment.
