TAGAYTAY CITY — The Juniorate Community of the Society of St. Paul Philippines-Australia Province held its Annual Retreat from May 24 to 29, 2026, at the St. Scholastica’s Center of Spirituality in Tagaytay City. The retreat was facilitated by Sr. M. Leticia Bantolinao, PDDM.
The eleven SSP Juniors, together with Fr. Khris Emmanuel Llacer, SSP, Master of the Juniors, and Fr. Lawrence De Peralta, SSP, Assistant Formator, opened the retreat with the celebration of the Holy Mass, moments of meditation, and a Visit to the Blessed Sacrament.
Centered on the theme, “Be Transformed by the Renewal of the Mind,” the retreat served as spiritual preparation for the renewal of the Juniors’ evangelical vows. Reflecting on Romans 12:2, Sr. Bantolinao emphasized the Pauline understanding of transformation through a renewed mind, highlighting the interconnectedness of Primo Maestro’s Donec Formetur Christus in Vobis and the Truth-Way-Life spirituality at the heart of every Pauline vocation.
The retreat became a spiritual “reset” for the Juniors, inviting them to say “yes to maturity” as they prepare for a new formation year and continue nurturing their Pauline vocation. Inspired by St. Paul’s exhortation to Timothy, the Juniors were likewise encouraged “to fan into flame the gift of God” (2 Tim 1:6).
