MAKATI CITY — With the theme “Sowers of the Word, Channels of Peace,” the ST PAULS Bible Ministry (SPBM) successfully concluded the online elimination and semifinal rounds of the 13th St. Paul National Bible Quiz (SPNBQ) on July 22–23, 2026. This year’s competition drew the participation of 229 schools and 460 teams, including The Youngster subscribers, from across the Philippines.
The elimination rounds were held at Asia Pacific College and Omnia Studios, SSP Makati. The top-performing schools from the three elimination batches advanced to the semifinals, where 13 schools secured their places in the National Championship.
The face-to-face National Championship will be held on September 12, 2026, during the 47th Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
The SPBM is under the direction of Fr. Angelo Paolo Asprer, SSP, ST PAULS Creative Director. This year’s Secretariat was headed by Cl. Melvin Dela Cruz, SSP, and Cl. Enrique Teodoro, SSP. The organizers also expressed their gratitude to Mr. Jojo Castillo of Asia Pacific College for his invaluable technical support in managing the online quiz platform.

9. Sisters of Mary School–Girlstown, Inc. – Cebu (Region VII)
10. St. Joseph Academy of Sariaya – Quezon (Region IV-A)
11. St. Martin de Porres Catholic School, Inc. – Bulacan (Region III)
12. St. Theresita’s School of Tabuc, Inc. – Kalinga (Cordillera Administrative Region)
13. University of Saint Anthony (JHS) – Camarines Sur (Region V)
Beyond the prizes and recognition, the St. Paul National Bible Quiz seeks to form young people who know, love, and live the Word of God, following the example of St. Paul as a faithful sower of the Gospel.
