The newly ordained priests are Fr. Vinz Anthony Francesco Aurellano, 30, from San Mateo, Rizal; Fr. Ronel Louis Marie De los Reyes, 35, from Cabalanga, Camarines Sur; and Fr. Ronel Anthony Soriano, 33, from San Fernando City, La Union. The ceremony was attended by numerous faithful, including the ordinandi’s families, SSP communities with aspirants and postulants, members of the Pauline Family, friends, and benefactors.

As we near the close of the 2025 Jubilee Year with the theme “Pilgrims of Hope,” we are invited by the Church to pause and reflect on a truth that touches us all—our mortality. In just a few weeks, we will celebrate Christmas, the birth of Emmanuel, God-with-us, who is Life himself. But before we rejoice in that beginning, the Church asks us to look towards the end—our end. BEGGARS OF FAITH

The Gospel today is a story of two “pray-ees”: a Pharisee and a tax collector. At first glance, it seems clear who the protagonist and the antagonist are—but looking carefully, we are invited to ask this question: “Who am I really before God?” The Pharisee stands upright, praying not so much to God as about himself. His prayer is a list of spiritual accomplishments: fasting twice a week, giving tithes, and living a moral life. He was doing everything right—on the surface.

PERSEVERING IN PRAYER AND FAITH

Today’s readings speak powerfully to moments when life asks us to hold on—when we feel weary, discouraged, or tempted to give up. They remind us that perseverance in faith is not about relying on our own strength but trusting in the One who fights for us, who never sleeps, and whose justice will surely come. Pauline Four Wheels

Pauline formation is holistic—forming the whole person in Christ through four essential dimensions:

As Blessed Alberione said, everything—nature, grace, vocation—is for the apostolate.

“Our community was born out of love; by loving one another, we fulfill the Pauline apostolate.” (DSGC 409)
“Its value lies in the people themselves, and the community’s goal is to help each one achieve holiness through the apostolate.” (CD 17)

Pauline poverty is lived in creative simplicity: producing through hard work, preserving what is used, renouncing personal ownership, and trusting in Providence. (Cf. CD 91.2)

Piety

The heart of Pauline life. Daily Mass, meditation, and Eucharistic adoration, especially the “Visit” to the Blessed Sacrament, strengthen union with Jesus the Divine Master.

Apostolate

The Pauline mission is to bring Christ to people using all modern means. It is pastoral, prophetic, and universal.

Common Life

Life in community fosters brotherhood and strengthens the mission through mutual love, support, and service.

Study

Intellectual formation aimed at serving the apostolate. All learning is directed toward better evangelization through media and communication.

The Pauline Family

Between 1914 and 1959, Fr. Alberione founded ten institutions forming the Pauline Family:

Five Religious Congregations

Four Secular Institutes and One Lay Association

Their shared spirit is summed up in the founder’s words: “Cor Pauli, Cor Christi – The heart of Paul is the heart of Christ. All devotions converge in giving the whole Christ to the whole world.”
