Kasalan sa ST PAULS: Pauline Collaborators Receive the Sacrament of Matrimony

In a heartwarming celebration of faith and family, the Society of St Paul, Philippines-Australia Province, through its Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD) Department, organized a mass wedding for its lay collaborators who wished to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony. The event took place on October 4, 2025, at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Pasay City, followed by a reception and fellowship at Alberione Hall in Makati City.

The couples who received the sacrament were Danmark Fontanos (ST PAULS SM Fairview) and Christine Fontanos; Mark Elfer Gomez (ST PAULS Makati Superstore) and Carren Gomez; Mylene Guerrero (ST PAULS SM Bicutan) and Bencito Guerrero Jr.; Rowena Recarro (ST PAULS SM Bacoor) and Jomel Recarro; and Melanie Tenedero (ST PAULS SM Dasmariñas) and Percival Tenedero.

The Eucharistic Celebration with the Rite of Marriage was presided over by Fr. Mario Sobrejuanite, SSP, Provincial Superior of the Philippines-Australia Province, and concelebrated by several Pauline priests. The homily was delivered by Fr. Cris Robert Cellan, SSP, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Sorrows.

In his homily, Fr. Cris reflected on the “Six Cs of a Happily Married Couple”—Commencement, Charity, Companionship, Communication, Commitment, and Christ. Emphasizing the last two, he said, “Marriage is a love triangle where the third party is Christ. Put Christ at the center of your married life.”

Following the Mass, the couples, along with their families and friends, proceeded to Alberione Hall for a joyful reception filled with songs, laughter, and thanksgiving.

The event was spearheaded by Fr. Paul Vincent Octubre, SSP, Director of the HRMD Department, with overall planning and coordination led by Cl. John Ervin Valerio, SSP, alongside the HRMD team. It was also supported by professed members of the congregation who contributed in various capacities to ensure the event’s success.

This initiative aimed to strengthen the spiritual and family life of Pauline employees, reflecting the congregation’s mission to “live and give Jesus Master, the Way, the Truth, and the Life”—not only to the world but also to its lay collaborators.
