December 1, 2025. With profound gratitude for the gift of the Pauline vocation, the faithfulness of God, and the privilege of serving His people, Fr. Raymond Ferraris, SSP and Fr. Andres “Andet” Inting, SSP celebrated the 40th anniversary of their priestly ordination with a Thanksgiving Mass at the St. Paul Sanctuary in Makati at 5:00 PM. Joining them were their Batch ’85 brother-priests—students of San Carlos Seminary ordained by Jaime Cardinal Sin—namely: Abp. Soc Villegas, Abp. Dong Lavarias, Bp. Elmer Mangalinao, Msgr. Rolly dela Cruz, Msgr. Claro Matt Garcia, Fr. Allan Dichoso, Fr. Mike Lagrimas, and Fr. Dwight de Jesus. Archbishops Soc and Dong were unable to attend due to prior commitments, while Fr. Dwight is currently based in the United States.
Fr. Raymond presided over the Eucharistic celebration, with Fr. Andet delivering the homily. Family members, friends, benefactors, members of the Pauline Family, and concelebrating SSP priests filled the sanctuary. The choir from Fr. Allan’s parish enhanced the liturgy with solemn and uplifting music.
In his homily, Fr. Andet shared insights and inspiring words he gathered from the brother-priests who had earlier presided in their own Thanksgiving Masses. Because theirs was the last among the Batch ’85 celebrations, he remarked, “Blessed are the last,” as he was able to listen and reflect on the wisdom of others before speaking. From their batch he highlighted themes such as: “We are not ordained for ourselves but for others… Forty years is a continuing journey of knowing Christ… We have been unworthy, yet God saw our worth… Our joy finds its fullness not in what we receive, but in what we give.”
In his message to the two Pauline priests, Superior General Fr. Domenico Soliman wrote: “This anniversary is a moment of grace, inviting you to look back over your life and recognize the many ‘signs’ of the Lord’s presence and love woven through the events of your journey. The Lord called you to dedicate your whole lives to Him, and forty years have now passed since your consecration and total self-giving in the Pauline apostolate—a time marked by abundant good sown and countless graces received.”
In his thanksgiving message, Fr. Raymond expressed deep gratitude to all who have accompanied them in their priestly journey—supporting them, loving them, and bearing with their weaknesses. Echoing the words of St. Paul, he acknowledged that the treasure of the ministry is carried in “earthen vessels, so that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us” (2 Cor 4:7).
After the Mass, the assembly proceeded to Alberione Hall for the agapē. A video presentation was shown featuring the two celebrants reflecting on their 40-year journey—one marked by love, service, and grace.
