MAKATI CITY — With the theme “Sowers of the Word, Channels of Peace,” the ST PAULS Bible Ministry (SPBM) successfully concluded the online elimination and semifinal rounds of the 13th St. Paul National Bible Quiz (SPNBQ) on July 22–23, 2026. This year’s competition drew the participation of 229 schools and 460 teams, including The Youngster subscribers, from across the Philippines.

MAKATI CITY, Philippines — A historic milestone has been reached for the Association of Pauline Cooperators (APC) in the Philippines with the establishment of its first-ever National Council, marking a significant step in strengthening communion, formation, and apostolic collaboration within the Pauline Family.

Mr. John Carlo Perez was formally accepted into the Aspirancy Program of the Institute of St. Gabriel the Archangel (ISGA), an institute aggregated to the Society of St. Paul. The simple Rite of Acceptance took place on June 24, 2026, coinciding with the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. The celebration was held at the Oratory of Mary, Queen of the Apostles in Makati City, with the Holy Mass presided over by ISGA Formator Fr. Vinz Anthony B. Aurellano, SSP.

The new Local Council of the SSP Makati Central Community was installed during a simple yet meaningful rite held within the evening Eucharistic celebration at the Mary, Queen of the Apostles Chapel on July 7, 2026.

Fr. Albert "Abet" Leopoldo Bernal, SSP, was born on December 6, 1971, in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental, to the+Meynardo Catalbas Bernal and +Arlene Torres Leopoldo. This much-anticipated gathering brought together Institute members from across the Philippines and abroad, including Malaysia and Macau, as an integral moment in their ongoing spiritual journey.

On January 31, 2026, the Memorial of St. John Bosco, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish (OLSP) in Pasay City welcomed the First-Class Relic of St. Carlo Acutis, marking a significant moment in the life of the parish and the Pauline Family.
